In 2007, Charlotte was admitted to the bar at the District Courts of Glostrup, Frederiksberg, and Lyngby, as well as the Eastern High Court, and in 2023, she was admitted to the bar at the District Court of Helsingør.

Charlotte has subsequently handled numerous criminal cases ranging from property crimes and violent crimes to major cases involving drugs, homicide, and human trafficking.

In addition to serving as a defense attorney, Charlotte frequently acts as a legal representative for victims who have been subjected to sexual or violent abuse.

Furthermore, Charlotte has many years of experience with child custody cases, guardianship cases, and visitation rights cases in Family Court.

The National Association of Defense Attorneys; Charlotte has also served on the association’s board of directors since 2025.

The Association of Pro Bono Attorneys at the Glostrup, Lyngby, and Frederiksberg Courts. Charlotte has served as the association’s chair since 2018

In addition, Charlotte has been a member of the Association of Court-Appointed Attorneys in Helsingør since 2023

Charlotte is also a member of the National Association of Public Defenders, where she served on the board from the association’s founding in 2023 until 2026.

Charlotte was born in 1968 and received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Aarhus University in 1993. She was admitted to practice before the regional courts in 2001 and before the Supreme Court in 2019.
